Get ready, Dr. Stone fans! The second part of the final season, Dr. Stone: Science Future, is just around the corner, bringing with it a fresh wave of excitement. The anime’s staff has released a brand-new trailer, revealing the opening and ending theme songs and confirming the premiere date for the second cour (quarter of a year): July 10th!

A Stone-Cold Return: What to Expect

Dr. Stone: Science Future is the fourth and final season of the Dr. Stone anime series, continuing the epic journey of Senku Ishigami and his Kingdom of Science as they strive to rebuild civilization after a mysterious petrification event turned humanity to stone. The first cour of Science Future aired from January 9 to March 27, 2025.

Sonic Science: New Theme Songs Revealed

Music is an integral part of any anime, and Dr. Stone is no exception. The new opening and ending themes promise to amp up the excitement as Senku and his friends venture further into the unknown.

What is Dr. Stone about?

Dr. Stone is based on the manga series of the same name, written by Riichiro Inagaki and illustrated by Boichi. The story begins 3,700 years after a mysterious flash of light petrifies nearly all human life. Senku Ishigami, a genius with an unparalleled love for science, awakens to find the world reverted to a pre-industrial state.

Determined to restore civilization using the power of science, Senku embarks on a mission to revive humanity. With the help of his friends, including the strong and reliable Taiju Oki, Senku establishes the Kingdom of Science. They face numerous challenges, from creating basic necessities to battling those who oppose their vision of a scientifically advanced future.
