The anime adaptation of Qruppo’s adult visual novel adventure game, Nukitashi the Animation, is set to premiere in July 2025. Kadokawa has recently unveiled a promotional video and additional cast members for the series.
What’s Nukitashi About?
Nukitashi (抜きゲーみたいな島に住んでる貧乳（わたし）はどうすりゃいいですか？, Nukige Mitai na Shima ni Sunderu Hinnyū (Watashi) wa Dō Surya Ii Desuka?) translates to “What’s a Flat-Chested Girl Like Me to Do on an Island Straight Out of a Porn Game?” The story unfolds on Seiran Island, a tropical paradise where a unique “lewd law” encourages sexual activities. The protagonist, Junnosuke Tachibana, a proud virgin, opposes these norms and forms the secret society NLNS with like-minded individuals to fight against the island’s policies. Their mission involves finding and protecting a mysterious girl who holds the key to their success.
New Cast Members Announced
The newly announced cast members include:
- Tōka Reizeiin: Voiced by Masumi Tazawa (originally voiced by Sakura Hanazawa in the game).
- Rei Tadasugawa: Voiced by Nanami Aiba (originally voiced by Nanami Mizuno in the game).
- Ikuko Onabuta: Voiced by Nana Inoue (originally voiced by Aria Kurata in the game).
These actresses join the previously announced cast:

Production Details
Nukitashi the Animation is produced by Passione and directed by Nobuyoshi Nagayama. Kenta Ihara is writing and overseeing the series scripts, with Kumata designing the characters. The music is composed by Ebi Curry Earl, Sasa Ikeki, Umigame, and Kashiko.

An advance screening of the first three episodes is scheduled for June 22 at Cinem@rt Shinjuku in Tokyo.
Visual Novel and Manga
The original visual novel was developed by Qruppo and released in Japan on July 27, 2018. Shiravune released an English version in June 2023. A sequel, Nukitashi 2, was released in July 2019, with an English version in February 2024.
A manga adaptation illustrated by Mameojitan was serialized online via Beaglee’s Manga Ōkoku and in Shueisha’s Ultra Jump.
Plot and Setting
The story is set on Seiran Island, where a reform ordinance has led to sexually permissive laws. Junnosuke Tachibana returns to the island with his younger sister after their parents’ death. The island has become a place where those who refuse to engage in promiscuous behavior are punished.
