The upcoming TV anime adaptation of Ao Tajima’s dark and stylish manga, “Hotel Inhumans,” has officially announced its premiere date. Mark your calendars, anime fans, because the doors to this exclusive hotel for assassins will open on July 6, 2025! A brand new main promotional video and key visual have also been released, offering a tantalizing glimpse into the series’ unique world.

What to Expect from “Hotel Inhumans”

“Hotel Inhumans” isn’t your typical hospitality establishment. Sure, it boasts top-class dining, relaxation, and entertainment, but it also caters to a very specific clientele: assassins. This unique hotel offers its guests an ever-fresh arsenal of weapons, false identity creation services, and a world-class cleaning crew to take care of… well, let’s just say “inconveniences.”

The story revolves around the hotel’s two concierges, Sara Haizaki and Ikuro Hoshi, who navigate the treacherous world of professional killers. Their motto? Never say “no” to a guest, no matter how outlandish or dangerous the request. The anime promises to explore the dark underbelly of the hospitality industry, where luxury and violence intertwine.

Story Synopsis

Here’s a more detailed look at the story:

“At this hotel, our esteemed guests are assassins.” A premier hotel offers more than luxury; it meets unique requirements: exquisite dining, ultimate relaxation, enthralling entertainment…and even the latest in weapon procurement, guaranteed identity concealment, and seamless corpse disposal!? On the line between life and death, two concierges, Sara and Ikuro, who never say “no,” are ready to grant every assassin’s wish. Get ready for the striking drama of the Killing Hotel!

Production Details and Staff

The “Hotel Inhumans” anime is being brought to life by a talented team:

  • Original Creator: Ao Tajima
  • Director: Tetsuro Amino (known for “Macross 7,” “Shiki,” and “Iwa-Kakeru! -Sport Climbing Girls-“)
  • Series Composition: Shoji Yonemura (known for “Parasyte -the maxim-,” “Wave, Listen to Me!,” and “Shaman King 2021”)
  • Character Design: Shingo Fujisaki (known for “Let This Grieving Soul Retire!”)
  • Music: Koharu (of Charan-Po-Rantan)

Where and When to Watch

“Hotel Inhumans” will premiere on July 6, 2025, at 11:45 p.m. (JST) on TV Tokyo and its affiliates. It will also air on BS TV Tokyo later that evening and on AT-X starting July 10.

Manga Nearing Its End

For fans of the original manga, there’s bittersweet news. Ao Tajima announced in May 2025 that the “Hotel Inhumans” manga is nearing its conclusion. Tajima hinted that the manga would likely end around the same time the anime is airing. The manga has been serialized on Shogakukan’s Sunday Webry website since June 2021, and as of March 2025, ten tankōbon volumes have been released.

A Word from the Creators

The original author, Ao Tajima, shared their excitement about the anime adaptation:

” ‘Hotel Inhumans’ is going to be made into an anime! I’ve been in such a state of shock since I first heard about it that I thought it was a dream. As the original author and as one of the viewers, I’m very happy that there’s so much to look forward to in the future. I hope you’ll enjoy the story of Sara and Ikuo, who talk and move in a world of color and sound, and the assassins together with me.”

Hinano Shirahama, the voice actress for Sara Haizaki, commented on the humanity of the assassins:

“Inhumans is a word that means ‘inhuman,’ but what impressed me strongly when I read the original work was the humanity of the assassins. Sara is a very attractive character who shows her cuteness at times, even though she is shrouded in mystery. I am facing her with the help of so many people. I will do my best to make it a wonderful work! Thank you!”

Koharu, who is composing the music, had this to say:

“I packed as much of it as I could into the music. I am honored to be involved in this work. By the way, this work will be the first anime music I will create. I’m so happy.”

What Makes “Hotel Inhumans” Unique?

Several elements make “Hotel Inhumans” stand out in the anime landscape:

  • Unique Setting: The concept of a hotel exclusively for assassins is inherently intriguing.
  • Dark Humor: The series blends dark themes with moments of humor, creating a captivating tone.
  • Complex Characters: The concierges, Sara and Ikuro, are not simply service providers; they are complex individuals navigating a dangerous world.
