The anime will premiere on July 7th at 22:30 JST on Tokyo MX and other networks. For viewers eager to dive in, the series will also be available for streaming on ABEMA at the same time. The anime will run for a total of six episodes.
Synopsis
To their classmates, Wada is a quiet, refined girl, while Yamamoto is seen as an intimidating lone wolf. However, beyond their surface appearances lies a shared secret:
- Wada is a passionate mobile game addict.
- Yamamoto has a penchant for urban legends.
Their biggest secret? They meet at the food court every day after school to rant, rave, and learn what makes each other tick!

Manga Origins
See You Tomorrow at the Food Court began as a webcomic on Shinichirō Nariie’s Twitter account in October 2019. It was later serialized on Kadokawa Shoten’s Comic Newtype website in March 2020. Yen Press is publishing the manga in English.
Additional Collaborations
In addition to the anime premiere, collaborations with the Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles and AEON MALL Natori, where the anime is set, have also been revealed. Hiyori Miyazaki and Yoshino Aoyama will throw out the ceremonial first pitch on July 27, and AEON MALL Natori will host a stamp rally and talk event.
