Tokyopop has unveiled a series of Disney-themed manga releases for Summer 2025, featuring highly anticipated adaptations of beloved films, including Disney Alice in Wonderland Manga and Disney Pixar: The Manga Collection. The lineup also includes new editions and box sets based on popular Disney, Pixar, and Tim Burton franchises.
Disney Pixar: The Manga Collection Box Set Arrives June 24
The first of these releases is Disney Pixar: The Manga Collection Box Set, which became available on June 24, 2025. This extensive compilation, spanning 704 pages, includes manga adaptations of several classic Pixar films: Toy Story, Toy Story 2, Finding Nemo, Wall-E, and Monsters, Inc.. Geared towards readers aged 5 to 9, the box set offers a valuable collection of previously released Disney Manga Pixar titles.
Disney Alice in Wonderland Manga Set for August Release
Fans of Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland will see a manga adaptation, titled Disney Alice in Wonderland Manga, released on August 19, 2025. This 354-page volume, adapted by Jun Abe, retells the story of Alice Kingsleigh as she returns to the whimsical world of Underland and confronts the formidable Red Queen. Tokyopop had previously announced a “Special Collector’s Manga” version of Alice in Wonderland in 2016, a 352-page hardcover adaptation of the classic film.

Written by Jason Muell with art by Natsuki Minami, this 240-page volume follows Evie as she navigates a fashion competition in Auradon.
Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas – Full-Color Hardcover Edition
A full-color hardcover edition of the Disney Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas manga is also slated for August 5, 2025. Adapted by Jason Muell with artwork by Jen Asuka and Manuel Puppo, this 176-page volume reimagines the 1993 animated film in manga format for readers aged six and up.
Disney Pixar’s Toy Story: 30th Anniversary Manga Hardcover Edition
Rounding out the summer lineup, Disney Pixar’s Toy Story: 30th Anniversary Manga Hardcover Edition is scheduled for August 19, 2025. This 272-page edition features manga versions of Toy Story and Toy Story 2 and includes a foreword by Shawn P. Krause, an animator and layout artist who worked on the original Toy Story film.
