Emaqi, an e-bookstore service from AI localization company Orange Inc., has officially released the romantic comedy manga “Dealing With Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze” in English. The first two volumes of the series, known in Japan as Mikadono Sanshimai wa Angai, Choroi (literally “The Three Mikadono Sisters Are Surprisingly Easy”), are currently available to readers, with a limited-time free access offer.
Authored and illustrated by Aya Hirakawa, the manga has been serialized in Shogakukan’s Weekly Shonen Sunday magazine since December 2021. As of June 2025, fourteen compiled book volumes have been released in Japan. The English release by Emaqi Service marks a significant expansion of their manga library, aligning with Orange Inc.’s commitment to introduce new, previously untranslated titles to English-speaking audiences. Orange Inc. launched the Emaqi service in the United States and Canada in September, with plans to consistently add new content.
Synopsis of the Series
“Dealing With Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze” introduces Yu Ayase, an ordinary high school student who finds himself living under the same roof as three exceptionally talented and beautiful sisters from his school: Kazuki, a rookie actress; Niko, a rising martial artist; and Miwa, a shogi prodigy. Yu, the son of a renowned actress, struggles to live up to his late mother’s legacy, but surprisingly, he finds it remarkably easy to get along with the genius Mikadono sisters.
The story unfolds as a heartwarming romantic comedy, exploring how these brilliant sisters, initially self-sufficient and independent, begin to change and show their more vulnerable sides as they share their lives with Yu. The manga delves into themes of family, budding romance, and the charming dynamics that emerge when ordinary meets genius.
Anticipated Anime Adaptation
In addition to the manga’s English release, “Dealing With Mikadono Sisters is a Breeze” is also set to receive a television anime series adaptation. Produced by P.A. Works and directed by Tadahito Matsubayashi, the anime is scheduled to premiere on July 10, 2025, on Tokyo MX and other networks. Crunchyroll will stream the series as it airs and will also offer an English dub. The upcoming anime adaptation is expected to further popularize the series among international fans.
