Takayuki Noguchi will also return as the character designer, maintaining the beloved visual aesthetic of the characters. Moe Hyuga is confirmed to be returning for the music, while Tomoya Kamijo will be back as the director of photography. New additions to the staff include Ryosuke Kawai as art director and Yoko Suzuki for color design. Akinori Mishima will handle the editing.
The voice cast from the first season is also expected to reprise their roles, including Manaka Iwami as Mahiru Shiina and Taito Ban as Amane Fujimiya, alongside Hisako Kanemoto as Shihoko Fujimiya and Kensho Ono as Yuuta Kadowaki.
The Story Continues
Based on Saekisan’s light novel series with illustrations by Hanekoto, “The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten” centers on the evolving relationship between Amane Fujimiya, an ordinary high school student, and Mahiru Shiina, his beautiful and academically perfect next-door neighbor. The first season, which aired for 12 episodes from January to March 2023, depicted how their initial distant acquaintance transformed into a heartwarming bond after Amane’s kind gesture during a rainy day. Mahiru, in turn, began taking care of Amane, cooking and cleaning for him, and gradually spoiling him rotten.
The newly released teaser trailer for Season 2 hints at the continued development of Mahiru and Amane’s growing relationship, promising more tender and emotional moments between the two. Fans can anticipate a deeper exploration of their bond as the story progresses. The series is streamed by Crunchyroll, which also carried the first season.
