Production and Streaming
The English dub is directed by Courtney Sanford, with Eric P. Sherman serving as producer and Henry Mason handling the script adaptation. Kenneth Thompson is the mixer, and Krystal Holmes is the engineer.
The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4 is directed by Hitoshi Haga, who also directed the third season, at Kinema Citrus studio. Keigo Koyanagi oversees the series scripts, and the character designs are handled by Franziska van Wulfen, Sana Komatsu, and Masahiro Suwa. Kevin Penkin returns to compose the music, joined by sub-composers Alfredo Sirica and Natalie Jeffreys.
The series is based on the light novel series written by Aneko Yusagi and illustrated by Seira Minami. Crunchyroll is exclusively streaming The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 4, with new English-dubbed episodes available weekly starting July 10, 2025. The new season picks up with Naofumi’s journey as he continues his adventures in another world, following his betrayal and subsequent efforts to protect the world from the Waves of Catastrophe.
