TNSK, the acclaimed creator behind the recently concluded “My Master Has No Tail,” is poised to launch a new manga series titled “Torimatorimasu” on August 7. The announcement, made in Kodansha’s Good! Afternoon magazine, marks a highly anticipated return for the popular mangaka.
The new series will center on a character named Jun, a young girl who relocates to a clinic nestled deep within a mountain village alongside her father, a doctor. What initially promises to be an idyllic summer takes a sinister turn as Jun uncovers unsettling rumors circulating about the clinic and stumbles upon a mysterious, old videotape.
TNSK’s previous work, “My Master Has No Tail” (Uchi no Shishō wa Shippo ga Nai), captivated readers from January 2019 until its conclusion in January 2024. The final, 12th volume of “My Master Has No Tail” was published in February 2024 in Japan, with Kodansha USA Publishing releasing the digital English version of the final volume in September 2024. The series also inspired an anime adaptation in 2022, which was streamed by HIDIVE.
