REMOW, a global Japanese entertainment content distributor, has officially launched its new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming television (FAST) channel, “It’s Anime,” on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada. This new channel aims to provide anime enthusiasts with timely and barrier-free access to a wide range of anime series, from the latest hits to cherished classics.
The launch of “It’s Anime” marks a significant step in REMOW’s mission to make culturally authentic and premium Japanese anime accessible to a global audience without the need for a subscription. Akira Ishii, CEO of REMOW, emphasized that the channel was developed to meet the expectations of today’s passionate and engaged anime audience, treating FAST as a premier destination for top-quality anime. The company hopes this channel will expand the fanbase of anime worldwide.
Content Offerings and Future Expansion
“It’s Anime” is set to offer a diverse lineup of anime titles. Initially, the channel will feature first-run shows such as Your Forma, My Deer Friend Nokotan, Reborn!, and Umamusume: Cinderella Gray. In the coming months, viewers can anticipate the addition of more titles, including Tougen Anki, Haigakura, Gag Manga Biyori Go, Tonbo!, Tasokare Hotel, and Kuroko’s Basketball. Some of the content on “It’s Anime” is exclusive to the channel.
While currently available exclusively on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. and Canada, REMOW has plans to roll out “It’s Anime” on additional platforms and in other territories throughout 2025 and 2026. This expansion strategy underscores REMOW’s commitment to broaden its streaming footprint.
REMOW’s Growing Presence in Global Streaming
REMOW, founded by Japanese publisher Shueisha, has been actively expanding its global reach in distributing Japanese content. In addition to “It’s Anime,” the company successfully launched its “24/7 Samurai-Shinobi” FAST channel, which is available on Prime Video in the U.S. and has expanded to 140 countries on over 40 streaming platforms. REMOW has also seen significant traction on YouTube, accumulating nearly 100 million views in less than a year. The launch of “It’s Anime” reinforces REMOW’s position as a key player in bringing Japanese entertainment to a worldwide audience.
