Remow, the global anime distributor established by Japanese publisher Shueisha, has officially launched its new free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, “It’s Anime,” on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada. The 24/7 channel aims to provide accessible and authentic Japanese anime content to a broad audience without requiring a subscription.
The launch, announced around July 2-3, 2025, coincided with the Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California, highlighting Remow’s commitment to engaging the anime community. This initiative marks a significant step in Remow’s mission to make premium Japanese anime readily available to global viewers.
Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, stated that “It’s Anime” was developed to cater to the passionate and engaged anime audience of today who desire timely access to the latest series without barriers. He emphasized the channel’s role in treating FAST as a premier destination for high-quality anime, enabling viewers to discover and enjoy fresh, in-demand titles as they become part of global conversations.
The programming lineup for “It’s Anime” features a mix of first-run anime shows and vintage classics directly from Japan. Initial titles include “Your Forma,” “My Deer Friend Nokotan,” “Reborn!,” and “Umamusume: Cinderella Gray.” Upcoming content expected to be available on the channel in the coming months includes “Tougen Anki,” “Haigakura,” “Tonbo!,” and “Tasokare Hotel.” Some of the content offered on “It’s Anime” is exclusive to the channel.
While currently available on Samsung TV Plus for compatible Samsung smart TVs, smart monitors, and Galaxy devices in the US and Canada, Remow has outlined plans for the channel’s expansion to additional platforms and territories throughout 2025 and 2026. Remow has a history of expanding its streaming footprint, having launched a dedicated anime FAST channel in 18 Latin American countries and a “24/7 SAMURAI-SHINOBI” FAST channel on Prime Video.
