Remow, a global distributor of Japanese content and a company founded by the Japanese publisher Shueisha, has officially launched “It’s Anime,” a new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel. The channel is now available on Samsung TV Plus in the United States and Canada, marking a significant expansion of accessible anime content for North American audiences.
Expanding Anime Access
The launch of “It’s Anime” aims to make culturally authentic and premium Japanese anime readily available to a global audience without the need for a subscription. This initiative aligns with Remow’s mission to cater to passionate and engaged anime fans who desire timely access to the latest series without barriers. Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, emphasized that the channel is designed to be a premier destination for top-quality anime, encouraging viewers to discover and enjoy fresh, in-demand titles as they become part of global conversations.
Content Lineup and Availability
The “It’s Anime” channel offers a diverse mix of both first-run and fan-favorite anime titles. Upon launch, viewers can stream shows such as Your Forma, My Deer Friend Nokotan, Reborn!, and Umamusume: Cinderella Gray. Future content additions are expected to include Tougen Anki, Haigakura, Gag Manga Biyori GO, Tonbo!, and Tasokare Hotel, alongside classics like Kuroko’s Basketball. Many of these titles are exclusively available on “It’s Anime.”
The channel’s debut on Samsung TV Plus coincides with the Anime Expo in Los Angeles, California, further highlighting its commitment to the anime community. While initially launching in the US and Canada, Remow plans to expand “It’s Anime” to additional platforms and territories throughout 2025 and 2026. Beyond Samsung smart TVs, the channel is also accessible on Samsung phones and smart monitors, offering broad compatibility for viewers.
This is Remow’s second 24/7 FAST anime channel, building on their previous success with a samurai-themed channel launched on Prime Video, which currently operates in over 140 countries. Remow, a Tokyo-based entertainment company, has a track record of bringing Japanese content to 140 countries, including the launch of a dedicated anime channel in 18 Latin American countries and expanding the reach of Japanese period dramas in North America.
