Remow, a global anime distributor founded by Japanese publisher Shueisha, has officially launched its new 24/7 free ad-supported streaming TV (FAST) channel, “It’s Anime,” on Samsung TV Plus in North America. The channel became available in the United States and Canada in early July 2025, marking a significant step in Remow’s mission to broaden the accessibility of premium Japanese anime to a global audience without the need for a subscription.
Expanding Anime Accessibility
The introduction of “It’s Anime” aims to cater to the growing demand for anime in Western markets, providing a platform where passionate fans can access both the latest series and beloved classics. Akira Ishii, CEO of Remow, emphasized that the channel was developed to meet the expectations of today’s anime audience, offering timely access to new titles without barriers. He also expressed hopes that the channel would help expand the overall anime fanbase.
This initiative builds on Remow’s prior successes, including the launch of a dedicated anime FAST channel in 18 Latin American countries and its “24/7 Samurai-Shinobi” FAST channel on Prime Video, which has contributed to Remow’s expansion into over 140 countries and more than 40 streaming platforms. The company, which received investment from Skybound Entertainment in late 2023, also boasts a strong presence on YouTube, with its “It’s Anime” YouTube channel garnering nearly 100 million views in under a year.
Diverse Content Lineup
The “It’s Anime” channel on Samsung TV Plus features a dynamic mix of contemporary and classic anime titles. Initial and upcoming programming includes highly anticipated shows such as Your Forma, My Deer Friend Nokotan, Reborn!, and Umamusume: Cinderella Gray. Other titles slated to air include Tougen Anki, Haigakura, Gag Manga Biyori GO, Tonbo!, Tasokare Hotel, and the popular sports anime Kuroko’s Basketball. Remow plans to roll out the channel on additional platforms and in other territories throughout 2025 and 2026.
