The highly anticipated psychological thriller anime series Your Forma is officially available for streaming on Amazon Prime Video in the United States. The series premiered on April 2, 2025, in Japan on TV Asahi’s “IMAnimation W” programming block.
Overview of “Your Forma”
Based on the light novels by Mareho Kikuishi, Your Forma is a science-fiction crime suspense story set in a world where an invasive information device called “Your Forma” is implanted into the brain, recording every sight, sound, and emotion. This technology, which evolved from medical treatment for a viral encephalitis pandemic in 1992, makes investigating major crimes a process of diving into collective data.
The narrative follows Echika Hieda, a prodigious “Electronic Investigator” assigned at a remarkably young age, who is partnered with Harold, a blonde, blue-eyed humanoid “Amicus.” Together, this formidable duo works to uncover hidden secrets and solve complex cases.
Production and International Availability
Your Forma is produced by Twin Engine and animated by Geno Studio, with Takaharu Ozaki directing the series. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu handles the series composition and screenplays, Chikashi Kadekaru is responsible for character design, and Tatsuya Kato composes the music. The opening theme song is “Gridout” by yama, and the ending theme song is “Neo-Luddite” by 9Lana.
While Amazon Prime Video is now a streaming option in the U.S., earlier announcements from global Japanese content distributor REMOW indicated that Your Forma would be streaming on Samsung TV Plus in the U.S. and Canada. The series is also available on ADN in EMEA territories and Anime Onegai in Latin America. For viewers in the United States, the anime is available with Japanese audio and English dubs, along with English and Latin American Spanish subtitles.
