The official website for the Summer Pockets television anime has unveiled its sixth promotional video and a new visual spotlighting the character Shiroha Naruse. This announcement coincides with the beginning of the anime’s “Shiroha Naruse arc,” which commenced with its 15th episode, airing on Monday, July 14, 2025, in Japan.
Shiroha Naruse Takes Center Stage
The newly released visual features Shiroha Naruse alongside the protagonist, Hairi Takahara, providing a fresh look at one of the main heroines as her dedicated story arc begins. Konomi Kohara voices the character of Shiroha Naruse in the anime. This new visual and promotional video precede the broadcast of episode 15, which delves into Shiroha’s narrative. The Summer Pockets anime series, based on Visual Arts/Key’s popular visual novel, premiered in Japan on April 7, 2025. Crunchyroll is streaming the series globally outside of Japan.
Series Background and Upcoming Releases
The Summer Pockets visual novel was originally released for PC in June 2018 in Japan, with an updated version, Summer Pockets Reflection Blue, launching in June 2020. The game’s narrative centers on Hairi Takahara, a young man who uses his grandmother’s death as a reason to escape to the isolated island of Torishirojima. There, he encounters the islanders and several girls who become central to the story.
In addition to the ongoing television series, Summer Pockets is also set to release a series of four compilation films in Japan, re-editing the TV anime. These films will begin screening on August 15, 2025, with a schedule that dedicates specific weeks to each heroine’s arc. The “Shiroha Naruse Arc” compilation film is slated to screen from September 5-11, 2025. Netflix is also scheduled to begin streaming the television series on August 8, though international availability was not specified.
