About Sumire
Sumire Akane is a character introduced in Chapter 66 of the Jibaku Shounen Hanako-kun manga. She is a part of the Akane family, a lineage noted for having children offered to a deity. Nene Yashiro suspects Sumire’s full name to be Akane Sumire, a family name later confirmed by Teru in Chapter 70 of the manga. While her connection as an ancestor to Aoi has not been definitively confirmed, she is indeed part of the Akane family line. Sumire possesses long black hair similar to Aoi’s, pale blue eyes, and pale skin. Her personality has been described as cheerful, helpful, and lighthearted, akin to Aoi’s demeanor, but she also exhibits a manipulative and somewhat sadistic side. Sumire also has a strong infatuation with keeping Nene and Hanako-kun as her “pets.”
