The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of Makoto Kudo’s romantic comedy manga, My Awkward Senpai (Bukiyō na Senpai.), has unveiled its main promotional video, additional cast members, staff details, and confirmed an October 2025 premiere. October 2025 Premiere Confirmed
The My Awkward Senpai anime is officially slated to begin its broadcast in October 2025 on Tokyo MX and BS NTV channels. This announcement was made alongside the release of a new main visual and promotional video for the series.
Expanded Cast and Voice Talent
In addition to Lynn, who was previously announced to voice the main heroine Azusa Kannawa, three new cast members have been revealed.
The confirmed cast now includes:
- Azusa Kannawa: Voiced by Lynn. Lynn is known for her roles as Miorine Rembran in Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury.
- Yu Kamegawa: Voiced by Shogo Sakata. Sakata expressed his long-standing desire to play Kamegawa, stating his happiness upon passing the audition.
- Miho Hotta: Voiced by Ami Maeshima. Maeshima commented on her happiness to be involved in a production that explores delicate emotions and caring for others.
- Ritsu Kankaiji: Voiced by Mitsuki Saiga. Saiga described Kankaiji as a “cool and wonderful person who adores Tetsuwana.”

Based on Makoto Kudo’s manga, My Awkward Senpai is a romantic comedy that started as a webcomic on Kudo’s Twitter in March 2019 before being serialized in Square Enix’s Young Gangan magazine in December 2019.
