Aniplex and Sony Music have officially revealed SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes, a new original television anime series set to premiere on Fuji TV in October 2025. This “MUSIC × HERO” themed project was previously teased through a countdown website launched on July 24.

The collaboration between Aniplex and Sony Music aims to deliver a unique “MUSIC × HERO” narrative. The countdown website, which garnered significant attention, featured both “Hero Mode” and “Artist Mode” pages, offering voice previews and character silhouettes for a unit named SI-VIS. The project’s core concept revolves around “heroes who protect the peace of the Earth and the smiles of people” through their music. This suggests a blend of musical performance and heroic action, where the characters’ live performances secretly generate the power needed to combat a mysterious threat.
Meet the Vocal Unit SI-VIS and Main Cast
The central focus of SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes is a mixed-gender vocal unit also named SI-VIS. This unit is described as a “hyperdimensional vocal unit” that has taken the music scene by storm with their overwhelming singing and performance abilities.
The main voice cast for the series features several prominent voice actors:
- Daisuke Namikawa as YOSUKE (leader of SI-VIS)
- Ayane Sakura as Siren
- Akari Kitō as μ (Mu)
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Souji
- Sōma Saitō as JUNE
The in-game unit SI-VIS will feature a vocal lineup specially selected by Sony Music.
Key Staff Bringing the Story to Life
The creative team behind SI-VIS: The Sound of Heroes includes established names in the anime industry:
- Fumiaki Maruto is handling the series composition and script. Maruto is known for his work on popular titles such as Saekano: How to Raise a Boring Girlfriend and White Album 2.
