The highly anticipated anime adaptation of the popular mobile game “Disney Twisted-Wonderland,” officially titled “Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation,” is set to begin streaming its first season on October 29, 2025. The initial season, subtitled “Episode of Heartslabyul,” will be exclusively available on Disney+ globally, with new episodes releasing weekly.
What to Expect in Season 1: Episode of Heartslabyul
The first season of “Disney Twisted-Wonderland: The Animation” will focus on the “Episode of Heartslabyul” arc and is confirmed to consist of eight episodes. The story follows Yuuken Enman, a male high school student from the real world who finds himself lost in Twisted-Wonderland and enrolls at the school. The anime’s narrative draws from the popular mobile adventure game, which features characters inspired by classic Disney villains, all designed by Yana Toboso, known for her work on “Black Butler.” Toboso is also credited with the original concept, main scenario, and character designs for the game.
