Voice actress Yōko Hikasa has officially joined the cast of the ongoing second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince So I Can Take My Time Perfecting My Magical Ability (Tensei Shitara Dainana Ōji Datta no de, Kimamani Majutsu o Kiwamemasu). Hikasa will voice the character Anastasia, a priestess of the Holy Church, making her debut in the 17th episode of the season.
The announcement was made on Tuesday, with Anastasia having already been teased in the season’s opening sequence.
A New Voice for a Mysterious Character
Yōko Hikasa, known for her diverse roles including Maria Cadenzavna Eve in Symphogear, James Bonde in Moriarty the Patriot, and Freya in Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon?, brings her considerable talent to the character of Anastasia. The introduction of Anastasia, a priestess, suggests potential new developments related to Holy Magic, an area Prince Lloyd is keen to explore in the second season.
Second Season Details and Returning Production
The second season of I Was Reincarnated as the 7th Prince premiered on TV Tokyo on July 9, 2025, and is being streamed globally by Crunchyroll. The series is a part of the Summer 2025 anime lineup.
The production team from the first season has returned for the second installment. Jin Tamamura (Meiji Gekken: 1874) is directing the anime at studio Tsumugi Akita Anime Lab, with Naoki Tozuka handling the series composition, Naru Nishikiori on character designs, and R.O.N composing the music. The anime adapts the light novel series written by Kenkyo na Circle and illustrated by meru.
