While Yasuharu Takanashi returns to compose the music, the animation production is now a collaboration between Yumeta Company and MARU Animation. Yumeta Company previously supported Season 1 and shared animation duties on Season 2, but Graphinica, involved in earlier seasons, is no longer listed in the production credits.

Viz Media is responsible for the digital and print English releases of the manga. The first season of the anime debuted on Netflix in June 2021, followed by the second season, which was released in two parts in January and July 2023.
