‘Captivated, By You’ Showcases Opening Theme and Premiere Date
The new main promotional video for “Captivated, By You” offers viewers a first listen to the opening theme, “Rubble,” performed by Keina Suda. This comes ahead of the anime’s broadcast premiere, set for August 21, 2025. “Captivated, By You” is an anthology series derived from Yama Wayama’s original manga, focusing on loosely connected stories about students at an all-boys school. The anime’s cast includes Kenshō Ono as Miyoshi Hayashi, Kōki Uchiyama as Jōji Ema, Yūki Ono as Yuichi Medaka, and Nobuhiko Okamoto as Akira Nikaidou, with their character voices featured in the new PV. Additionally, the ending theme song, “Bitansan Adolescence,” will be performed by Daiki Yamashita and Tasuku Hatanaka. Both “Captivated, By You” and “Let’s Go Karaoke!” are animated by Dōga Kōbō and directed by Asami Nakatani, with Yoshimi Narita overseeing the series scripts and Takurō Iga composing the music for both adaptations.
‘Let’s Go Karaoke!’ Expands Story with Original Episode
Fans of “Let’s Go Karaoke!” have reason to celebrate with the announcement of an original episode. This new installment will delve into the day of the yakuza karaoke competition, an event central to the manga’s premise where a yakuza lieutenant seeks karaoke lessons from a middle school choir president to avoid a boss-imposed tattoo for the worst singer. The original episode is scheduled to air after the broadcast of “Captivated, By You” anime’s five episodes.
“Let’s Go Karaoke!” officially debuted earlier this summer, with its first broadcast on ABEMA on July 24, 2025, followed by a TV Tokyo premiere on the same day. The series stars Shun Horie as Satomi Oka, Daisuke Ono as Kyouji Narita, and Shinnosuke Tokudome as Wada. Crunchyroll is also streaming this series for international viewers.
