REMOW has officially revealed a new trailer and key visual for the highly anticipated “Nerima Arc” of the Tougen Anki: Dark Demon of Paradise television anime, confirming its premiere in October. The new video also showcases additional cast members and provides a preview of the arc’s opening and ending theme songs.
‘Nerima Arc’ Set for October Premiere with New Visuals
The “Nerima Arc,” serving as the anime’s second cour, is slated to begin airing in October 2025. A new key visual accompanies the trailer, highlighting the intense expressions of protagonists Shiki Ichinose and Mikado Momodera, hinting at a potential face-off within the arc.
The Tougen Anki anime, based on Yura Urushibara’s manga serialized in Akita Publishing’s Weekly Shōnen Champion magazine, originally debuted on July 11. The manga itself has sold over 4 million copies in Japan.
Fresh Faces Join the Voice Cast
Several new voice actors are joining the Tougen Anki cast for the upcoming “Nerima Arc,” expanding both the Oni Agency and Momotaro Agency rosters. The newly announced cast members include:
- Atsushi Tamaru as Masumi Yodogawa (Oni Agency)
- Haruki Ishiya as Kaoru Namikido (Oni Agency)
- Shunichi Toki as Mikado Momodera (Momotaro Agency)
- Chiharu Sawashiro as Shinya Momoiwa (Momotaro Agency)
- Shintarō Asanuma as Tsukuyomi Momoka (Momotaro Agency)
- Yūki Ono as Osuke Momokado (Momotaro Agency)
These additions will bring new depth to the ongoing conflict between the Oni and Momotaro bloodlines, a central theme of the series.
New Theme Songs Revealed
The new trailer for the “Nerima Arc” also unveiled and previewed its new opening and ending theme songs.
- The opening theme song, titled “AMIDAKUJI,” will be performed by CHOGAKUSE.
- The ending theme song, “ACTION,” will be performed by eill.
These new tracks follow the anime’s initial theme songs, “Overnight” by THE ORAL CIGARETTES and “What is justice?” by BAND-MAID, respectively.
Production Details and International Streaming
Ato Nonaka is directing the anime at Studio Hibari, with Hiroyuki Hashimoto serving as assistant director. Yukie Sugawara is handling the series composition and script, while Ryoko Amisaki is responsible for character design. Kohta Yamamoto is composing the music, produced by PONY CANYON.
For international viewers, the Tougen Anki anime is available for streaming outside Japan on platforms such as Crunchyroll, Netflix, Prime Video, Samsung TV Plus, Anime Onegai, Bandplay, ADN, ANIME GENERATION, and Anime Key. The manga series, authored by Yura Urushibara, has been published in English by Yen Press, with the fourth volume set to ship on October 28.
