Young Magazine Special English Edition Debuts
In a notable move for manga enthusiasts, GlobalComix has launched a special English issue of Young Magazine on its platform, commemorating the magazine’s 45th anniversary. This substantial digital edition spans over 1,000 pages and features 19 new series from both emerging and established Japanese artists.
Key highlights of the special issue include the first chapter of Kengo Hanazawa’s UNDER NINJA and Shuichi Shigeno’s Subaru and Subaru. The top five series with the most votes will potentially be serialized in English.
To further celebrate this launch, some Kodansha titles that originally run in Young Magazine will be available at a discount on GlobalComix through September 1, including Boys Run the Riot and Dragon Head. Physical copies of this premium issue are also being distributed for free to attendees at Anime NYC, taking place from August 21-24, 2025, and at 17 select Kinokuniya bookstores from August 21 to November 10, 2025. The titles from the special issue are also accessible on the magazine’s official website.
