The popular manga series The Food Diary of Miss Maid (Maid-san wa Taberu dake) by Susumu Maeya is officially receiving a television anime adaptation, slated to premiere in 2026. The announcement was made by Happinet on Monday, August 25, 2025, revealing key staff, studios, and the lead voice actress for the highly anticipated culinary slice-of-life series.

The upcoming TV anime will be a collaborative production between animation studios EMT Squared and Magic Bus. Ryousuke Senbo is set to direct the series, with Natsuko Takahashi and Saeka Fujimoto handling the scripts. Character designs will be overseen by Chiaki Abe, and the musical score will be composed by Katsutoshi Kitagawa.
Voice actress Kana Ichinose has been cast in the lead role as Suzume Tachibana, the titular maid at the heart of the story. Following the announcement, manga author Susumu Maeya released a special illustration to commemorate the anime adaptation.
