The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the Gachiakuta anime has announced five additional voice cast members set to join the highly anticipated series. These new additions will portray key characters who are expected to appear fully in the upcoming Episode 8. The anime adaptation of Kei Urana’s action fantasy manga premiered on July 6, 2025, and is available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
New Additions to the Gachiakuta Cast
The newly revealed voice actors and their respective roles are:
- Wataru Takagi as Bro: Known for his role as Okuyasu Nijimura in JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure: Diamond Is Unbreakable, Takagi takes on the character of Bro, the supervisor of the Cleaners’ Team Child. Bro is depicted as deeply caring for Dear, watching over him despite no blood relation. Takagi expressed his enjoyment in exploring Bro’s interactions with the unique cast, even with the handfuls that Dear and Hebby can be.
- Hana Sato as Dear: Sato, who voiced Emile Elman in SPY x FAMILY, will play Dear, a 10-year-old Giver whose vital instrument is a pacifier. Dear is known to get sleepy late at night. Sato, a fan of the manga, looks forward to seeing the manga’s impact translated to the anime and describes Dear as an “interesting character” and a “super unique member of the Cleaners”.
- Rikiya Koyama as Corvus: Koyama, recognized as Kogoro Mori in Case Closed/Detective Conan, steps into the role of Corvus, the boss of the Cleaners. Corvus leads the organization responsible for exterminating monstrous beasts born from trash. He is characterized as capricious and often absent from headquarters, yet commands incredible loyalty and respect as a mysterious figure.
- Manaka Iwami as Eishia: Iwami, known for voicing Mahiru Shiina in The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten, portrays Eishia. Eishia is described as the Cleaners’ only healer Giver and the younger sister of August, the Cleaners’ artiste. She is introverted and has low self-esteem, contrasting sharply with her bold older brother. Iwami mentioned August’s improvisations during recording sessions threw her off, adding to the character’s dynamic.
- Shunsuke Takeuchi as Zodyl: Takeuchi, who voiced the Producer in THE IDOLM@STER CINDERELLA GIRLS, will voice Zodyl, the boss of the Raiders. Zodyl relentlessly pursues Rudo, seeking a way to reach the Sphere. Takeuchi conveyed his intention to deliver Zodyl’s words in a way that truly sinks in, noting his personal love for cleaning contrasts with Zodyl’s methods.
