The official website for the “Campfire Cooking in Another World with My Absurd Skill” anime series has unveiled a new trailer, additional cast members, and details regarding its opening and ending theme songs for the highly anticipated second season. The new season is set to premiere on October 7, 2025, broadcasting in Japan on the TV Tokyo network.
New Characters Join the Culinary Adventure
The trailer introduces several new voice actors and their respective characters, expanding the already colorful cast of the isekai fantasy.
- Daisuke Namikawa joins as Elrand, the guild master of an adventurer’s guild.
- Shirō Saitō will voice Hephaestos, the God of Blacksmiths.
- Kazuya Nakai is cast as Vahagn, the God of War.
Additionally, Ayumu Murase will lend his voice to Dra-chan, a pixie dragon who becomes a new companion to Mukoda’s party, drawn in by the irresistible aroma of his cooking. These new additions promise to bring fresh dynamics and further expand the comedic and adventurous elements of the series.
Theme Song Artists Announced
Music will once again play a significant role in setting the tone for Mukoda’s gourmet journey.
- The official opening theme song for the second season is titled “yummy goodday,” performed by CENT.
- The ending theme song, “SALT AND PEPPER,” will be performed by chelmico.

Returning Staff and Production Details
Most of the key staff members from the first season are returning for the sequel, ensuring continuity in the animation and storytelling. Kiyoshi Matsuda continues to direct the anime at Studio MAPPA, with Michiko Yokote overseeing series composition. Nao Otsu remains on character designs, joined by Tsuyoshi Kuwahara. The musical score is provided by Masato Koda, Kana Utatane, and Kuricorder Quartet.
The anime adapts Ren Eguchi and Masa’s light novel series, which originated on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. The first season, which ran from January to March 2023, is currently available for streaming on Crunchyroll, which describes the story of a mediocre salaryman, Mukoda Tsuyoshi, summoned to a magical realm where his “Online Grocery” skill allows him to acquire modern food, leading to unforeseen and delicious effects. The second season was officially announced in October 2023.
