The Story of the Black-Winged Tyrant’s Return
“A Wild Last Boss Appeared!” adapts the light novel series by Firehead and YahaKo, which was initially serialized on the Shōsetsuka ni Narō website. The story begins in the year 2800 of the Mizgard calendar, focusing on Lufas Mafahl, infamously known as the “Black-Winged Conqueror.” After an epic final battle against the Seven Heroes, Lufas’s reign ends with her sealing away.
However, 200 years later, the world is threatened by devilfolk due to a collapsed power balance. In a desperate attempt to summon a new hero, humanity inadvertently awakens Lufas from her long seal. The twist? A man wakes up in the body of his overpowered MMO character, Lufas, 200 years after her in-game defeat. Now, as Lufas, he must navigate this new reality, confronting the legacy of fear she left behind and embarking on a journey to find answers, potential allies, and confront the monsters unleashed by her “death”.
