Renowned voice actress Kana Hanazawa has been officially cast as Lemon Ando, the advisor of the broadcasting club, in the upcoming anime adaptation of Masakuni Igarashi’s romantic comedy manga, “Tune In to the Midnight Heart.” The announcement was made via the anime’s official website and social media accounts, ahead of its scheduled 2026 broadcast.
The addition of Hanazawa, known for her diverse roles including Ichika Nakano in The Quintessential Quintuplets and Mayuri Shiina in Steins;Gate, brings significant talent to the anticipated series.

Hanazawa joins an already announced cast for the series, which is set to premiere in 2026. The previously revealed main cast members for the broadcasting club heroines include:

The “Tune In to the Midnight Heart” anime is based on Masakuni Igarashi’s manga, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in September 2023. The story centers on Arisu Yamabuki, a second-year high school student who finds solace in the voice of a mysterious radio host named “Apollo.” After Apollo abruptly stops broadcasting, Arisu embarks on a mission to find her true identity. His search leads him to his school’s broadcasting club, where he encounters four ambitious girls, each with dreams of utilizing their voices professionally as a singer, voice actress, VTuber, or announcer. Arisu vows to help these girls achieve their dreams, hoping to uncover Apollo’s identity along the way.
Production Details and Anticipated Release
The anime adaptation is being directed by Masayuki Takahashi, known for his work on Butareba -The Story of a Man Turned into a Pig-, at studio GEKKOU. Yukie Sugawara is handling the series composition, and Tomoyuki Shitaya is responsible for character designs.
