A new promotional video for the second season of the “Tales of Wedding Rings” (Kekkon Yubiwa Monogatari) anime was released today, offering a preview of both its opening and ending theme songs. The highly anticipated second season is slated to premiere on October 4, 2025.
The trailer showcases Sizuk’s “Daybreak” as the new opening theme, while Akari Kito, who voices the main character Hime, performs the ending theme titled “any if”.
Season Two Premiere and Broadcast Details
“Tales of Wedding Rings II” will begin its broadcast in Japan on October 4, 2025. The “uncensored version” is scheduled to premiere on the AT-X channel at 9:30 p.m. JST, followed by broadcasts on Tokyo MX and BS11 at 10:00 p.m. JST, and Sun TV at 10:30 p.m. JST. For viewers outside of Japan, Crunchyroll is set to simulcast the series.
Japanese streaming services ABEMA, U-NEXT, and Anime Hōdai will also carry the series, with the uncensored version becoming available on ABEMA and U-NEXT starting October 11.
Returning Staff and New Cast Member
The core production team from the first season will return for “Tales of Wedding Rings II”. Takashi Naoya is once again directing the anime at Staple Entertainment. Deko Akao is handling the series scripts, and Saori Nakashiki is responsible for character designs.
Miyu Tomita will join the cast in the role of Morion for the second season. The first season of the anime originally premiered in January 2024. The series is based on the romantic fantasy manga by Maybe, which was serialized in Square Enix’s Monthly Big Gangan magazine. Yen Press publishes the English version of the manga.
