Popular K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE and J-Pop artist Imase are set to contribute new theme songs to the Beyblade X anime, with their tracks debuting as the series enters its third season on October 24. (G)I-DLE will provide the new opening theme, “Invincible,” while Imase will perform the ending theme, “Uzu” (meaning “Vortex”).
The anime, which initially premiered on July 13, 2024, has featured a lineup of prominent artists for its theme songs in previous seasons, including ONE OK ROCK, aespa, L’Arc-en-Ciel, Perfume, TOMORROW X TOGETHER, Jax Jones, and Ado.
(G)I-DLE’s “Invincible” as the New Opening Theme
(G)I-DLE’s “Invincible” is described as a blend of cool and pop, characteristic of the group’s style. The song uniquely incorporates the “3, 2, 1” countdown often heard before a Beyblade launch, strategically placed before the chorus. This track will also be featured on (G)I-DLE’s first Japanese EP, titled “i-dle,” scheduled for release on October 3. The group has expressed that the song features a fast-paced sound and powerful lyrics designed to give strength and confidence to those chasing their dreams.
Imase’s “Uzu” for the Ending Sequence
The ending theme, “Uzu,” was created by Imase before his current hiatus. The song showcases Imase’s distinct worldview set to a city-pop sound, with an enjoyable contrast provided by a rap section after the chorus. “Uzu” is slated for digital release on October 25. Imase, a fan of the Metal Fight Beyblade era, commented that he aimed to create a fun and exciting song reminiscent of his childhood experiences with the franchise, incorporating thrilling elements to match the intense battles of Beyblade X.
Beyblade X Anime Continues to Evolve

The anime follows aspiring Blader Robin Kazami, who teams up with former champion Jaxon Cross and influencer Multi Nana-iro to form Team Persona, aiming to reach the top of “The X” tower.
The series has seen various musical contributions since its debut. ONE OK ROCK’s “Prove” served as an earlier opening theme, while aespa’s “ZOOM ZOOM” was an ending theme. L’Arc-en-Ciel also performed the second opening theme “YOU GOTTA RUN,” which debuted on October 18, 2024.
The Beyblade X manga, which launched in June 2023 in Shogakukan’s Monthly Coro Coro Comics, features a story by Homura Kawamoto and Hikaru Muno, with illustrations by Posuka Demizu.
