Anime Overview and Plot
With You, Our Love Will Make it Through explores a world where humans and beastfolk coexist, though prejudice remains common. The story centers on Mari, a high school student whose life takes an unexpected turn when she meets Tsunagu, a beastfolk, on her way to school. Despite initial nervousness due to societal norms, Mari finds herself drawn to Tsunagu’s kindheartedness and steadfast nature, leading to a unique romance that transcends their differences.
The original Japanese anime, co-directed by Shin Itagaki and Hiromi Kimura at studio Millepensee, debuted on October 14 on Tokyo MX and is being streamed by Crunchyroll as it airs. Itagaki is also credited for overseeing and writing the series scripts, with Kimura serving as the character designer. Akiyoshi Yasuda is composing the music for the series.

The anime is based on Chihiro Yuzuki’s shojo manga, which launched on Shueisha’s Manga Mee website in May 2019 and is currently ongoing. Yen Press is releasing the manga in English, allowing international readers to follow Mari and Tsunagu’s unfolding story.
