The Premise of Gnosia
The Gnosia anime adapts the critically acclaimed social deduction RPG developed by Petit Depotto and published by PLAYISM. The story unfolds on a drifting spaceship where a shapeshifting enemy known as “Gnosia” has infiltrated the crew. The only way for the remaining humans to survive is to identify the imposter each day and place them into cryo-sleep.
The protagonist, Yuri, finds herself trapped in a time loop, reliving the first day of the crisis repeatedly. To break free, Yuri must uncover the truth behind both the Gnosia and the mysterious time loop itself. The game, which uses a visual novel role-playing format, challenges players to deduce who the Gnosia are among a group of NPCs in various scenarios created by the time loop structure.
