Anime streaming platform OceanVeil announced on Monday a new partnership with veteran distributor Media Blasters, which will see 10 new anime titles added to OceanVeil’s growing catalog before the end of 2025. The collaboration brings a mix of classic and unique series to the platform, enhancing its offering for anime enthusiasts.
A Strategic Partnership for Anime Fans
The agreement between WWWave Corporation’s OceanVeil and New York-based Media Blasters marks a significant expansion for the relatively new streaming service, which launched in March 2025. Media Blasters is known for its extensive history in bringing Japanese animation to North American audiences, with a legacy that includes acclaimed titles such as Berserk and Rurouni Kenshin, and notably their release of Invader Zim on DVD. This partnership allows OceanVeil to tap into Media Blasters‘ “treasure trove” of content, adding both nostalgic and distinctive titles to its platform.

The 10 anime titles slated for release on OceanVeil by the end of 2025 will be available in different language formats.

OceanVeil’s Growing Presence in Streaming
Since its launch, OceanVeil has positioned itself as a platform aiming to provide a diverse range of anime, including “adult and mature anime titles” alongside “more mainstream and popular non-mature titles.” The service emphasizes bringing previously unlicensed titles and ensuring content remains true to the Japanese original. This collaboration with Media Blasters follows previous partnerships with companies like AnimEigo and MVD Entertainment, which added titles such as Bubblegum Crash and Time of Eve, further diversifying its library. OceanVeil is also noted for being built by fans, for fans, and offering an ad-free streaming experience.
Availability and What’s Next
All 10 announced titles are scheduled to be released on OceanVeil before the end of 2025. This strategic partnership not only bolsters OceanVeil’s content library but also signals its intent to become a significant player in the competitive anime streaming landscape by offering a curated selection of both beloved and niche titles. Fans can anticipate more announcements as OceanVeil continues to expand its catalog and potentially explore further collaborations.
