The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Game Magazine’s mystery game, “The Case Book of Arne” (Arne no Jiken-bo), has revealed its full main cast and set its premiere date for January 6, 2026. The announcement, made on October 19, 2025, also provided details on the anime’s theme songs, accompanied by a new trailer and key visual.
Key Voice Actors Bring Characters to Life
The core cast bringing the intriguing characters of “The Case Book of Arne” to the screen includes a roster of established voice talents. Kōki Uchiyama will lend his voice to the titular vampire detective, Arne Neuntöte, while Aimi Tanaka will portray a younger version of Arne Neuntöte. Lynn Reinweiss, the noble-born daughter with an affection for vampires, will be voiced by Yuka Nukui. Additionally, Mariya Ise is cast as Luis Hartman.
The Unlikely Duo: Arne Neuntöte and Lynn Reinweiss
The anime centers on the unique partnership between Arne Neuntöte, a powerful vampire detective, and Lynn Reinweiss, a young woman from a noble family who possesses a fascination with vampires. Their paths unexpectedly converge as they embark on solving mysterious and often bloody murder cases. The story kicks off when Lynn finds herself in desperate need of help and wanders into Lügenberg, a mysterious city inhabited by non-humans, leading her to the enigmatic Arne.
Production Details and Premiere Date
The television anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting on January 6, 2026. Keisuke Inoue is directing the anime at SILVER LINK, and is also credited for series composition alongside Murasaki, who is presumed to be the original game’s co-developer, HARUMURASAKI. Akiko Sato is handling character design and serving as chief animation director, with Yoshiaki Fujisawa composing the music.
The opening theme, “Q.E.D.,” will be performed by Sou, while Watashi Kobayashi will perform the ending theme, “Ningyō no Machi” (Doll Town).
From Game to Manga to Anime
“The Case Book of Arne” originated as a 2D mystery-adventure game launched by Harumurasaki on Game Magazine’s website in November 2017, later arriving on Steam in 2020. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Soraho Ina, began serialization in Kadokawa’s Monthly Comic Gene magazine in 2018, with four compiled volumes published to date. The anime adaptation was first announced in November 2024. Fans can look forward to seeing this popular supernatural mystery unfold on screen early next year.
