Shun Matsuena’s manga series, Kichijōji Shōnen!, has concluded its serialization. The final chapter was announced in the December issue of Shogakukan’s Monthly Shonen Sunday magazine.
The series, which launched in December 2024, marks another completed work for the prolific manga artist known for titles like Kenichi: The Mightiest Disciple and Kimi wa 008.

Kichijōji Shōnen! is an adventure story set in Kichijōji, a neighborhood in Musashino City, West Tokyo. This location holds personal significance for Matsuena, as he spent his childhood there, drawing inspiration from his experiences for the manga. The series initially debuted as a one-shot in Monthly Shonen Sunday in 2019 before beginning its full serialization.
