The Story of Elves in Kanagawa
The “Kanagawa ni Sunderu Elf” manga, created by Yoroida, is a fantasy comedy that began serialization on Pixiv Comic via Micro Magazine’s Comic Elmo label in August 2020. The story follows a community of elves who, after their forest home was destroyed by a fire two years prior, now live ordinary lives among humans in various cities across Kanagawa Prefecture. The manga has released five compiled book volumes as of March 2025, with a sixth volume slated for December 10, 2025.
In addition to the upcoming light anime, the manga also inspired a live-action adaptation, which premiered on September 30, 2025, also within the Neko no Hitai Hodo Wide program.
