The second installment in the Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway film trilogy, officially titled Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, has announced a host of new cast members who will bring fresh characters to life. These additions include voice actors for the crew of the MAFTY support ship Valiant and other pivotal figures, expanding the universe ahead of its anticipated Winter 2026 theatrical release in Japan.
Expanding the MAFTY Ranks: The Valiant Crew
A significant portion of the newly announced cast will portray members of the MAFTY organization, particularly those serving aboard the support ship Valiant. These key figures and their respective voice actors are set to deepen the narrative and dynamics of Hathaway Noa’s anti-Earth Federation movement.

The Sorcery of Nymph Circe Story and Release Details
The second film, Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe, continues the story of Hathaway Noa as he grapples with his unresolved feelings for Gigi Andalucia and his mission as the leader of MAFTY. Simultaneously, Kenneth Sleg prepares for the suppression of MAFTY, with Gigi’s presence poised to significantly alter the destinies of both men in a complex space opera filled with drama, combat, and emotional depth.
The film project is envisioned as a trilogy, with the second part having previously held the working title Kidō Senshi Gundam: Senkō no Hathaway: San of Bright. Producer Naohiro Ogata has indicated that this installment will feature some deviations from Yoshiyuki Tomino’s original novel series. The main voice cast, including Kensho Ono as Hathaway Noa, Reina Ueda as Gigi Andalucia, and Junichi Suwabe as Kenneth Sleg, will return from the first film. Most of the staff from the first film are also returning, with some new additions to the art and visual effects teams.
Mobile Suit Gundam Hathaway: The Sorcery of Nymph Circe is scheduled to premiere in Japanese theaters in Winter 2026. The first film, Mobile Suit Gundam: Hathaway’s Flash, was a significant success, grossing over 2 billion yen domestically after its release in June 2021.
