Her singular ambition is to meticulously fulfill her role as a villainess to ensure her engagement to Cecil is annulled, which she believes is essential for his happiness and for the game’s “true” ending. However, her attempts at villainy often backfire, leading to unexpected and humorous outcomes. Miyu Tomita has been cast as the voice of Bertia, bringing the energetic character to life.

The anime is based on the light novel series written by Shiki and illustrated by Wan Hachipisu, which initially began as a web novel on Shōsetsuka ni Narō. The light novel has also inspired a manga adaptation.
