The highly anticipated final season of the Fire Force anime has revealed a new main trailer, details on its theme song artists, and additional cast members as it heads towards its epic conclusion. The third and final season is being released in two split cours, with the first part having premiered on April 4, 2025, and the second part set to debut in January 2026.
Produced by Studio David Production, the anime continues to adapt Atsushi Ohkubo’s popular manga series. Crunchyroll is streaming the final season globally, while Netflix holds exclusive streaming rights within Japan.
Explosive New Trailer for Cour 2 Highlights Impending Cataclysm
A new promotional video, specifically for the second half of Fire Force‘s final season, was released following the conclusion of episode #12. This trailer offers a glimpse into the escalating chaos as protagonist Shinra learns the truth about the Cataclysm and the Evangelist’s efforts to reignite it. The preview also teased the opening song for Cour 2, building excitement for the grand finale. Earlier, a trailer for the first part of Season 3 was unveiled at an IGN Fan Event, with another “second trailer” previously showcasing new cast additions.
The final season promises intense action and storytelling, delving into the critical moments of the manga’s final arc, including its surprising connection to the Soul Eater universe.

Cour 1 Theme Songs
For the first cour of the final season, the opening theme song is “Tsuyobi” (強火; ‘High Flame’), performed by Queen Bee. The ending theme for Cour 1 is “Urusiren,” performed by the Japanese hip-hop group Umeda Cypher. A music video for “Urusiren” was also streamed.
Cour 2 Theme Songs
Looking ahead to the second cour, the opening theme song will be “Ignis” by Takanori Nishikawa, known to many as T.M.Revolution. The ending theme for the second part of the final season will be “Speak of the Devil,” performed by Survive Said The Prophet.
Expanded Japanese and English Voice Casts Revealed
The concluding season introduces several new voice actors to its already stellar Japanese and English dub casts, bringing key manga characters to life.

Production Staff Updates
The creative team behind the Fire Force anime sees some changes for its final outing. While Tatsuma Minamikawa returns as series director, Sei Tsuguta is now supervising and writing the anime’s scripts, taking over from Minamikawa in that role. Mika Yamamoto is the new sub-character designer, Yumi Horikoshi is the new art director, and Kōji Kodera is the new CG director. Ryō Ōhashi is credited as VFX supervisor, and Natsuki Takei is the compositing director of photography.
