The anime centers on Akane Tsuda, a 28-year-old office worker who, despite her professional competence and respected demeanor at a robotics manufacturer, lives a chaotic and messy private life. In a moment of drunken loneliness, she orders what she believes to be a maid android to help clean up her apartment. However, what arrives is Nadeshiko, a “Romance-roid” described as a “horny hottie” and, notably, an illegal robot.
