The highly anticipated anime adaptation of Masakuni Igarashi’s manga, “Tune In to the Midnight Heart” (Mayonaka Heart Tune), has officially announced its primary voice cast, with the series slated to premiere in 2026. The revelation came during Anime Japan 2025, where a new full-voice trailer was also showcased.
Confirmed Main Cast for “Tune In to the Midnight Heart”
The key heroines and the protagonist have been cast, bringing life to the characters from the popular manga. The announced main cast members include:
- Momoko Seto as Rikka Inohana, a singer.
- Rumi Okubo as Nene Himekawa, a voice actress.
- Sayumi Suzushiro as Kirino Iko.
- Miku Ito as Shinobu Uzuki.
- Rikuya Yasuda as the protagonist, Arisu Yamabuki.
These voice actors also made an appearance at the anime’s stage panel, generating excitement among fans for the upcoming series. Additionally, Kana Hanazawa is listed among the cast as Lemon Ando.
About “Tune In to the Midnight Heart”
“Tune In to the Midnight Heart” is based on Masakuni Igarashi’s manga series, which began serialization in Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine in September 2023. As of January 2025, the manga has been collected into seven volumes, with eight tankobon volumes by March 2025.
The story follows high schooler Arisu Yamabuki, who finds solace in the voice of a radio host known as “Apollo” during lonely nights. When Apollo’s broadcasts abruptly stop, Arisu embarks on a mission to uncover her true identity, with clues leading him to his new high school’s broadcasting club. There, he encounters four girls, each aspiring to careers that utilize their voices. The manga is also available in English through Kodansha’s K Manga digital platform.
