The highly anticipated TV anime adaptation of “Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky” (Toumei na Yoru ni Kakeru Kimi to, Me ni Mienai Koi wo Shita.) has unveiled its main cast, key staff, and a teaser promotional video, confirming a July 2026 debut. The announcement was made during the GA Fes 2026: GA 20th Anniversary event, exciting fans of the award-winning light novel series.
A Pure Love Story Comes to Life
“Love Unseen Beneath the Clear Night Sky” is based on Nanigashi Shima’s romance light novel, which won the Grand Prize at the 15th GA Bunko Awards and was illustrated by raemz. The story centers on Kakeru Sorano, a shy college student, and Koharu Fuyutsuki, a blind heroine, as they navigate their meeting and the gradual development of their emotional connection. Yen Press has licensed the light novel in English, describing the series as a delicate love story where a girl who cannot see and a boy who has shut himself off search for light together.
A live-action drama adaptation of the work also began airing in December 2025.

Expanding Universe: Manga and Sequel Novel
The original light novel, published under SB Creative’s GA Bunko imprint, first launched in August 2023. A second volume was released in August 2024. A manga adaptation, illustrated by Hat., began serialization on Square Enix’s Manga UP! website in August 2024, with its first volume released in July 2025. The novel’s success also saw it rank third in the overall new works category of Takarajimasha’s “This Light Novel Is Amazing! 2024” guidebook.
