The official website for “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” (Sozai Saishuka no Isekai Ryokōki) has released its second promotional video, offering fans a glimpse into the upcoming anime adaptation and featuring a preview of the opening theme song “Prologue” performed by Nornis. The highly anticipated series is set to begin its early streaming debut on September 29, 2025, followed by its television premiere in early October.
Diving into the World of “A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai”
The new promotional video, revealed on Friday, showcases more of the fantastical world of Madeus and the adventures awaiting protagonist Takeru. Viewers can now hear a snippet of “Prologue,” the opening theme provided by the popular music duo Nornis, setting the tone for the isekai journey.
Premiere Dates and Streaming Availability
“A Gatherer’s Adventure in Isekai” will first become available for streaming in Japan on U-NEXT on September 29 at 24:30 JST (effectively September 30 at 12:30 a.m.). The television broadcast will commence on October 6 at 24:00 JST (effectively October 7 at 12:00 a.m.) on Tokyo MX and BS11. International audiences will be able to stream the series on Crunchyroll, with specific scheduling details for regions outside of Asia to be announced.
The Story So Far: Takeru’s New Life
The anime adapts Masuo Kinoko’s popular light novel series, which has also received a manga adaptation by Tomozo. The narrative centers on Kamishiro Takeru, an ordinary salaryman whose life takes an extraordinary turn when he is reincarnated into a world of swords and magic called Madeus. In this new life, Takeru is equipped with a unique set of skills, including enhanced physical and magical abilities, as well as the crucial power to “search” for valuable items, kicking off his adventure as a gatherer.

The anime boasts a talented cast bringing the characters to life:

Behind the scenes, the series is directed by Yoshinori Odaka, with Gigaemon Ichikawa handling series composition and Mayumi Watanabe designing the characters. Hiroshi Takaki is composing the music, and the animation is a collaborative effort between Tatsunoko Production and SynergySP, with GENCO producing the series.
In addition to the opening theme by Nornis, the ending theme song, “Mugen Trip,” will be performed by the rock duo Nakigoto.
