Happinet has announced three new voice cast additions for the upcoming television anime adaptation of Kuzushiro’s comedy manga, Egao no Taenai Shokuba Desu., also known as A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace. The series, which centers on the daily life of a rookie shojo manga artist, is slated to premiere in October on various channels, including Tokyo MX, Iwate Menkoi TV, BS Asahi, and AT-X.
The new cast members bring to life key characters within the manga industry setting of the anime, expanding on the previously announced main cast.
Expanding the Workplace Ensemble
The newly revealed voice actors and their roles are:

About A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace
Based on Kuzushiro’s “working girls comedy” manga, A Mangaka’s Weirdly Wonderful Workplace follows Nana Futami, a novice shojo manga artist. Despite the support of her editor, Kaede Satō, and assistant, Mizuki Hazama, Futami grapples with the pressures of the industry, including stomachaches, looming deadlines, and creative blocks. The manga, which began as a one-shot in Kodansha’s Kiss magazine in February 2019 and later started serialization on Kodansha’s Comic Days app and website in May 2019, delves into her daily struggles and “wild delusions” as she navigates the challenging world of manga creation.
