The story particularly follows Hinagiku, the Agent of Spring, who vanished a decade prior and now returns to restore the balance of the seasons. The light novel series, which began in April 2021 under KADOKAWA’s Dengeki Bunko label, has seen eight volumes released as of December 2024. Yen Press has licensed the light novel for English publication, making the source material accessible to a broader audience. A manga adaptation by Nappa Komatsuda is also ongoing.
