Apocalypse Bringer Mynoghra Episode 4, titled “Life never goes the way we want it to, does it?”, aired on July 27, 2025, and depicted the burgeoning conflict between the nation of Mynoghra and the Paladins of Qualia. The episode showcased Mynoghra’s continued development under Takuto and Atou, while setting the stage for a Holy War.
Mynoghra’s Continued Growth and Preparation
In Episode 4, Takuto and Atou demonstrated their ability to create a “long-footed ant,” a primary personnel unit, by pouring mana into flesh fruits. Atou emphasized that this was only a fraction of Takuto’s power, which would continue to grow with the loyalty and joy of the dark elves. Their discussions also touched upon the unit summoning system, noting its distinction from typical Eternal Nations mechanics. Preparations also began for summoning a new Hero, Isla, Queen of All Insects, though the episode clarified that additional time would be needed for this summoning.
Nation-Building and Resource Management
Following the events of Episode 3, where Takuto and Atou focused on developing magitech and security measures, the emphasis in Episode 4 remained on internal development. While Moltar was elected head researcher for magitech, the decision was made to prioritize housing development over amassing a large army, as the latter would divert crucial resources. The dark elves also managed to build a settlement and found a water source, planning to dig a well.
The Qualia Expedition into the Accursed Lands
Meanwhile, the Holy Kingdom of Qualia dispatched a force into the “accursed lands” to investigate a brewing disaster. This expedition was led by the veteran paladin Verdel and rookie paladin Lornias, accompanied by regular soldiers and mercenaries. Despite Lornias’s reservations about Verdel’s relaxed demeanor, Verdel encouraged his forces to enjoy their time before reaching the treacherous territory.
Encounter and Conflict
The episode reached its climax when Verdel and Lornias encountered Atou near the forest entrance. Atou attempted to deter the paladins peacefully, and Verdel, sensing her intent, was inclined to agree. However, Lornias disregarded Verdel’s advice and attempted to force his way into the forest. This transgression led to a decisive confrontation where Atou decimated all of Qualia’s forces, leaving Verdel and Lornias in despair.
