Banished Mage Anime Unveils More Cast & Theme Song!

The upcoming anime adaptation of Sora Suigetsu and DeeCHA’s light novel series, Yūsha Party o Tsuihō Sareta Shiro Madōshi, S-Rank Bōkensha ni Hirowareru: Kono Shiro Madōshi ga Kikakugai Sugiru (The White Mage Who Was Banished From the Hero’s Party is Picked Up by an S-Rank Adventurer: This White Mage is Too Out of the Ordinary!), has released its first promotional video, revealing additional cast members and a preview of the opening theme song. Here’s a breakdown of everything we know so far:

Story Premise

The story centers around Lloyd, a white mage who is kicked out of the hero’s party, because they believe he lacks ability. Unbeknownst to them, Lloyd is secretly the disciple of a missing great sage and possesses extraordinary support magic skills. After his expulsion, Lloyd becomes an adventurer, mistakenly believing he is average, unaware of his exceptional capabilities. He then joins an S-rank adventurer party.

Premiere Date

The anime is scheduled to premiere in July 2025.
