The upcoming original net animation (ONA) Bullet/Bullet, directed by Sunghoo Park, has revealed even more cast members, heightening anticipation for its July 2025 premiere. Park, known for his dynamic direction in Jujutsu Kaisen Season 1, Ninja Kamui, The God of High School, and Jujutsu Kaisen 0, is at the helm of this post-apocalyptic action series. Premiere and Streaming Details
Bullet/Bullet is set to stream exclusively on Disney+’s “Star” brand, with the first eight episodes debuting on July 16, 2025. The remaining four episodes will follow on August 13, 2025, completing the 12-episode series. For fans eager to experience it on the big screen, a two-part theatrical cut will also be screened in Japanese theaters on July 25 and August 15.

The story of Bullet/Bullet unfolds in a near-future wasteland where people scavenge relics from the past to survive. Gear, a young boy who runs a “thief shop” reclaiming unjustly stolen items, finds himself entangled in a high-stakes chase after accepting a request from a mysterious girl named Noa. Teaming up with Shirokuma, a gambling-addicted polar bear, and Qu-0213, a robot with four distinct personalities, Gear and his crew soon discover they possess a secret that could shake the foundations of their world.
