Fans of the popular light novel series Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle are eagerly awaiting the premiere of its anime adaptation in October 2025. A new key visual and a voice trailer have recently been released, further fueling the anticipation.
What’s the Buzz About?
The “Ramune Day” special livestream unveiled the anime’s “voice trailer,” offering the first glimpse of the characters’ voices, along with the initial key visual and the October premiere window. The series is produced by Feel studio and directed by Yūji Tokuno.
A Sneak Peek into the Story
Chitose Is in the Ramune Bottle revolves around Saku Chitose, a highly popular high school student who seems to have it all. He’s the most popular guy in school, boasts an unshakeable reputation, and is surrounded by attractive and genuine friends. However, his seemingly perfect world is disrupted when a teacher tasks him with convincing a reclusive student, Kenta Yamazaki, to return to school.
Yen Press, which publishes the English version of the light novel, describes the premise as: “Being popular isn’t easy. It’s hard to beat Saku Chitose. The most popular kid in his high school? Check. An ironclad reputation that can weather even vicious online attacks? Check. A group of friends as attractive on the outside as they are inside? Check. But when a teacher asks for his help bringing back a student who has been shut away in his room for months, Saku’s perfect world will never be the same. What is this, some kind of normie harem story…?”.
